I Won’t Take A Bullet For Trump

A Secret Service agent took to Facebook to make a startling admission: she would not “take a bullet” for President Donald Trump. Kerry O’Grady, Special Agent in charge of the United States Secret Service Denver District, wrote in October that she would rather endure “jail time” than take a bullet for Trump.

The post does not mention Trump by name, but O’Grady is clearly referring to the 45th president.

The agent wrote:

“As a public servant for nearly 23 years, I struggle not to violate the Hatch Act. So I keep quiet and skirt the median. To do otherwise can be a criminal offense for those in my position. Despite the fact that I am expected to take a bullet for both sides.”

“But this world has changed and I have changed. And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her.”

O’Grady has since taken down the Facebook post, but it was screen-grabbed for posterity:

O’Grady now appears to regret her decision to publish the post.

“It was an internal struggle for me but as soon as I put it up, I thought it was not the sentiment that I needed to share because I care very deeply about the mission,” she said in an interview with The Washington Examiner.

When asked for comment by the Examiner, the U.S. Secret Service responded: “The USSS is aware of the postings and we are looking into the matter.”

  1. Only “looking into the matter”?? Every word she said was an admission of the hate she feels for our President..and proof positive that she should no longer be in the position she is in. It is clear admission that she refuses to do her job, which thereby endangers our country and the President of the United States personally! We want her fired immediately…without pension and without being given any other government job in our country!! No second chances on this one!!

  2. This is serious to just be looking into if she is one bit hesitant then she is not deadicated she should be removed from that position immediately.
